Chapter 5: Configuration
Imager
When “Addendum” is set to
Disabled, the scanner does not recognize an
addendum. If this parameter is set to
Optional, the scanner searches for
an addendum and if one exists, appends it to the main bar code. When the
parameter is set to
Required, the scanner does not accept the main bar code
without an addendum.
Note: Setting “Addendum” to ‘Optional’ reduces performance. It should only
be chosen if at least some of the bar codes being read have addendums.
